Maintenance

The wastewater collection system consists of over 100 miles of main lines. The lines range in size from 8″ to 36″. There are 20 pumping stations throughout the system. The collection system has over 2150 manholes and the number is continually increasing due to growth of the area and the expansion of the system.

Operation and maintenance of these systems is the responsibility of our maintenance crew. In addition to the routine operation and maintenance duties, the crew has the responsibility of reading 4,000 water meters each month.
